Simple follow-up automation for Thunderbird while sending quotations via external software?

So I have a unique set of circumstances….

Our small sales team are a mix of Thunderbird users and web-based-gmail users.

We use inFlow inventory to send quotations to customers.

Is there a way for something such as Boomerang to trace your SENT items for a Keyword (all quotes have "SQ" in subject line) and then automate or at least line up / flag for a quick follow-up?

I am mostly looking for that ability to automate something in the "sent" folder as I am NOT sending the e-mails thru gmail or thunderbird, but via inFlow inventory (connected to our email act)

Any suggestions?
