Buying a small business with bad personal credit

I am three years out of chapter 13 bankruptcy, I was able to buy a home 2 years out and had a fair credit rating score of 670. I have approximately $13,000 in unsecured credit card debt. Due to unforeseen family circumstances, I was financially devastated with a death of a close family member and the loss of employment of my spouse. I had to reallocate funding from paying on my credit accounts to sustaining my family's day to day living. We had to use our rainy day / emergency fund to pay for funeral expenses. Thus as a result, my credit score dropped approximately 150 point over the course of three months. I am considering using a debt consolidation service to reign in my debt and helping to get me and my family out of the rut we are in until she is gainfully employed again. I have an opportunity to purchase a business and finally be able to work for myself, but I don't think I can remotely qualify for a loan. The business has been established for almost a 100 and is solvent. Due to the nature of the business, it is very difficult for an average person to be able to purchase do to stringent licensing requirements. I am a veteran as well and qualify for VA Loan benefits. What I would like to do is use an LLC to purchase this business but again there is no established credit. I'll welcome any ideas or suggestions.
