So I live in Melbourne Australia, and there's a suburb that's positively booming in population, and will continue to do so for the next 10-15 years. Seriously, there's thousands of apartments being built, and apparently an endless supply of immigrants wanting to live there. I'm sure developers are making a killing, and obviously anyone else who owns land near by as well will be happy. My question is, how do you take advantage of a new mini-city popping up, other than buying land, since that's already ridiculously expensive. What are the businesses that do well when a city grows rapidly?
Sorry if this isn't the right sub!
